“The Creatures of Sloss Furnaces”

Photography By Clyde Hancock and Christopher Roquemore
Edited By: Christopher Roquemore

Still photos shot on the grounds of Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, AL. This was an after-thought
after our real work was done. (shooting a video segment on the Metal Arts program.)

Very creepy place. Lots of beautiful visuals.  Shot with Canon 5D MII with only ambient lighting.

There was an unsettling mist and fogginess to the entire site that night. Very uneasy feelings

So many times students are faced with choices about their future, and we wanted to show the story of one
student who had a skill set that is ideal for a future in manufacturing. Whether you’re a
student considering a traditional 4 year college or contemplating a different path, we
think there are some valuable insights in our film.
